Extra large welding tabs reduce the electric resistance and thus keep the battery pack cool. Heat is distributed directly to the housing around to keep the cells cool. Large cells reduce resistance keeping the cells cooler longer.

Should the battery despite the high quality construction overheat, the red link™ electronic switches the battery of reliably. After it has been cooled down it can be used again. (button to red link page) Standard batteries work only down to -6ºC. Thanks to the highest quality of our cell chemistry, the Milwaukee REDLITHIUM™ battery works down to -20ºC.
